"Our salesman, Mike Cooper, was outstanding! He spent a lot of time with us, answered all of our questions about the two bikes and took us on a test ride. Also, Mike (don't know his last name) in the service department went above and beyond the call of duty when there was a slight mix-up with the windshield order on one of the bikes, which caused a delay. "By far the easiest purchase I have ever made. I had been a loyal customer to Honda of Jacksonville since the new purchase of my 2003 CBR 954RR in 6/03. After deciding it was time for new bike again, I decided on the 2007 CBR 1000RR. I did my research and knew what the 1000RR was worth and I knew what my trade was worth. Well HOJ was supposed to be having some "BIG SALE" and I decided to see what they could do. After what seemed like hours of talking to an uninformed sales rep, getting the low-ball offers on my trade, complaining about the price of their bike and their dealer fees, and trying to get over the shook of their warranty costs...I decided to leave with my 954 and be happy with it.
After some additional research online on the 07 1000RR and knowing they would be limited shortly due to the 08 release, I came upon the dealer locator on the Honda website. I knew I didn't want to drive to Georgia just to try to work a deal and I had heard other complaints of our other local dealer but the locator had one more worth trying. First Coast Honda of St. Augustine. It was Sunday and didn't think they would be open but their hours online showed they were. I picked up my cell and dialed the number and behold....a kind voice of a woman who was eager to help. Her name was Jill. I asked if she had any 07 1000RR remaining and she advised me of her inventory. I asked for their current price knowing the 08 release was in a couple of weeks. To my shock she told me $9799. That was $200 less than HOJ offered and we were only 15 seconds into the conversation. I had spent over an hour trying to get HOJ to do that. I was immediately relieved that there still may be a chance for my new bike. I asked if they would be open on Monday as HOJ is always closed and she said "of course, open till 7 pm". She asked what time I would to come in and then said she looked forward to meeting me.
Due to the excitement I left work early the following day to see once again if my dream was still possible. First impression was o.k. as the parking was a little limited. Little did I know was that it would be well worth it shortly. I found Jill and told her who I was and what I was looking for. She showed me the pick of 2 bikes in the color I was looking for. I asked the price again and she said $9564 and the shock set in again. That was now $435 less than their competitor. I explained that I had a trade and exactly what I was looking to get for it. She said she had to get the paperwork for the trade and would have her tech look at immediately. After the tech did his evaluation on my bike and receiving multiple compliments, I was introduced to a guy named Paul. Paul explained to me that they could start with the amount I was asking for my trade but that he needed to deduct some money to replace the rear tire for resale. I understood his point but really wanted the exact amount I originally requested for my trade. Basically he said "O.K." He explained the paperwork and discussed his dealer fee's (which by the way were cheaper than the competitor) and off he went for approval. Next time I seen Paul he had papers in hand ready to sign. The deal was approved.
Time for finance. The finance guy was really nice and professional too. His name was Anthony. He went over the paperwork and discussed the Honda Extended Warranty which I knew I wanted but HOJ told me it would be $1140 and I wasn't sure if it was worth that much. I asked how much the warranty would be and again the shock...$660 he said. I asked why his was cheaper than the competitor and he was confused. He said this is the Honda Certified Extended Warranty and he wasn't sure why it would be cheaper. He said it should be the same but the he had heard of other peoples complaints of paying more for what they found out to be a third party Warranty company. Usually Finance Departments are pretty pushy when it comes to warranties but I told him I would like to come back in a few months to purchase it. He said, "O.K.". I signed my paperwork and off I went. Jill handed me my keys and congratulated me on my new bike and the dream was complete.
I hope this is not too long to post on the testimonials as I want everyone to know my story. If by chance it's too long, I just want to say "JOB WELL DONE" to all that helped me. I really do appreciate it and I will be telling everyone I know about you all. Thanks again!!!"

"On 02/04/08 I was on my way to the VA clinic for an appointment on my 1980 GL1100 stopped at the red light at the intersection of SR16 and US 1 when my bike quit dead obvious electrical failure. I stopped traffic long enough to push bike off the street. Now here I am a 78 year old retiree on a fixed SS income and faced with this problem when a young lady stopped to see if she could help my situation. She introduced herself as Wendy and said she would notify the Honda shop on SR 16 of my predicament and if I needed a tow to the shop they could help. Well it wasn't more than 15 minutes until a young courteous man showed up with his pick up and trailer. At the First Coast Honda dealer the service manager came out to the trailer pulled the side cover from the battery and with his young assistant and a volt ohm meter located the problem, a deteriorated and corroded battery wire that lost continuity.
The service manager took it upon himself to make a new wire with connections and had me back on the road in a very short time. Sorry I wish I had memorized his name for he was one super guy to handle my situation in that manner and I do sincerely appreciate and thank him and his employees for the swift and courteous service.

"I bought my 750 Aero there in April. I shopped all the area dealers and the internet for over a year before I finally bought my bike. First Coast Honda was the only dealership that ever called me to see if I had purchased a bike. They didn't try to "sell" me. They just asked and offered to help get me a bike. When I got pre-approved from Honda that's where I went. I got a great price on the bike and the accessories I wanted.
When it came time for the 600 mile service I had trouble trying to get the bike to the shop. No problem. First Coast Honda came to my house (35 miles) and picked up the bike at no extra charge. When I went to get it, it was ready.
My goal is to own a Wing. I plan on getting it from First Coast.

I recently had occasion to need service at your dealership. As an out of town customer I expected "decent" service. Instead I received outstanding service. All too often we fail commend business's for exemplary service so I am tai king this opportunity to do so.
My 2008 GoldWing needed warranty work on the back seat rest which had pulled apart from the body. This is not a safety issue or even a driveability issue, just an annoyance on my part. Buddy Branaum sorted out the issue and ordered the replacement seat. When I brought the bike back to get it installed the service area was exceptionally busy, but he made sure I got in and out in short order with a cheerfulness that provided me with great assurance. I also chatted, upon paying my bill, with a young fellow in accessories area (Chris) who gave me significant guidance regarding blue tooth communications. He was most knowledgeable.
All other employees were very friendly. It made a service visit rather enjoyable. These two in particular are to be commended. With employees such as them I am sure you will enjoy much success. Good luck in your new facility; I look forward to seeing it when I return.

I left your place at 2pm on thursday and arrived in Charlotte at 9:15pm that night 450 miles later.
