Obviously an avid motor enthusiast, he knows his products inside and out, owning several. "Shopped around and got a significantly better out-the-door price here, than anywhere else locally, and they were very fair on my trade-in. Had a warranty issue on the new bike when I went to get it, so they kept it to do the repair. The mfg was slow with the part order, but the service dept fixed it up as fast as they could, then delivered a perfect bike to my house as soon as it was done. Also, I left something on my trade-in that I needed, so the salesman met me halfway to my house one evening to hand it off to me - very helpful. "I wanted to comment on how pleased I am with Scott in service and your service crew in helping me find out what was wrong with my Suzuki DRZ SM's tire issue. Last week I brought it in after I had a new set of tires put on. I was at a complete loss why my bike was riding poorly and thought something may have gone wrong mechanically. Your crew diagnosed that basically I put street bike tires on an SM bike and that was the problem. Today I went back and was able to get another new tire put on the rear trying to solve the problem. Next weekend I will have a new tire put on the front and this should take care of my tire issue. "I wanted to share my positive experience re: tire installation on my 09' Suzuki DRZ 400 SM. Scott in service was great for fitting me into your shop's already busy schedule. Scott helped me unload and re-load my bike too, which was a task since I do not own a trailer. I was also impressed with my service tech, George. I pulled up and saw George coming back from my safety test ride. George took the time to discuss the install and let me know I had chosen the right time to get me tire replaced due to the amount of wear on my old tire. George was also awesome since he saw we needed help re-loading my bike. George came to the rescue and got it done. Mike in parts was great and discussed different tire information/options with me as I was purchasing some oil. Lastly, Jake greated me when I called to find out my service tech's name. I thought it was awesome that Jake knew me by voice since he was my sales rep when I bought my DRZ from him a couple years ago. Jake took the time to share some upcoming Suzuki information regardig the 2011 products. I had an averall great customer experience today. "While loading our Honda ST1300 into the trailer here in Northern Ontario, Canada for a two week vacation in south Florida I discovered the rear tire was tread worn a little more than I was comfortable with and began to search for a dealer in Florida that would have a tire in stock and agree to change it immediately upon my arival. We were planning an overnight stay in St Augustine and my first call was to the good folks at First Coast Honda. Without hesitation First Coast Service offered to aquire the tire I needed and install it as soon as I arrived at the shop. Upon my arrival I enquired as to whether there service tech could also replace the thermostat at the same time which required another 2 hours of unscheduled labour. Once again, First Coast came through without hesitation. I dropped my bike off at noon and it was ready to load at five pm. "We are from Indiana. While on a trip to south Florida last week, I noticed our 2000 ST1100 was handling rather poorly. Another rider stopped to make sure we were OK as I inspected air pressure and was shocked to see the tread on the front tire almost gone on the bike! At the start of the trip, I was sure the tires would make it OK. CRAP...miss judged that a bunch! The rider that stopped said "Get to 1st Coast Honda in St. A."
Your parts guys (sorry, I didn't get any names) couldn't find the exact tires I needed, but found some that would work and brought them out for my inspection. A quick discussion about their effects on handling satisfied me that they were the way to go. Good job parts guys!!!!
The next hurdle was getting them installed. Shawn Johnston worked out a way to get me in for the tire change that afternoon and recommended a couple of places for lunch that worked out GREAT also. I know he had to move some scheduled service around to work us in, but did it with grand style as Shawn realized we were on the road and needed some help.
In short, your folks in the parts and service departments did a splendid job of getting us taken care of and I just wanted to let you all know how impressed I was with your organization.

"My wife and I both love to ride. We have a '97 1500 Wing/Sidecar rig that we ride in the local Toy Runs around Christmas, and provide VIP escort service in the Jacksonville PBTF ride. We also had a couple Honda cruisers, a VTX1300C and VT750 Shadow Aero. I had added windshields and saddlebags to both of them, which really set their looks as well as making them more convenient for our riding in Norht Florida (rainsuits, towels and the like). Beth really loved her Shadow, it was her first motorcycle. She attended the MSF saftey course and got her endorsement, and together, we would ride off around the Lake City countryside. Eventually, Beth's back problems got the best of her, and we made the decision to trade in both cruisers and upgrade to an 1800 Wing. I got on the phone a couple Saturdays ago and began the task of setting up a deal. First Coast had been recommended to me from a fellow worker so I included them in my hunt. I spoke with First Coast's Gold Wing Coordinator, Jill, and she was terrific! She was very patient, answering all our questions, and worked out all the details for the bike. I rented a trailer, loaded up the cruisers and dropped 'em off on the next day. Chris had all our paperwork ready as Jill was on her weekend, and Anthony processed the financing without a hitch. Four days later we got the call from Jill that our new Wing was ready for pick-up. Saturday we drove over and got to see our new baby for the first time!! Wow, she was beautiful!!! That Metallic Blue gleaming in the sunshine was awesome! Jill walked us through some of the differences between the 1800 and our 1500, making sure we were comfortable with everything. A couple minutes later, we were on our way back home with our new ride.

"It started at a Honda dealer in Jacksonville. We picked out two 750 shadows. My wife wanted a blue one with flames and we were told they would have it in a few days. So we started the paper work. Then it was "sorry there are no blue with flames on the east coast we checked everywhere". They pushed for us to just get two red ones with flames but my wife still wanted the blue one. The price kept comming down if we take the red ones. Four hours later with thier best price we left the store to sleep on it. Now this is where it gets good. I called First Coast Honda and asked about the blue shadow 750 and was told by a salesman that I have one on the floor in stock, I asked if they also had the red shadow 750 and it was in stock Both with the flames. Then I asked how much out the door for both with the same things I was getting at at the other dealer. ( did not tell him the price the other dealer wanted to charge me)He said he would have to call me back and he did in about ten minutes. His deal was so much better than the one in Jacksonville I just told him over the phone to mark them sold I will be there in about two hours. Gave him my info over the phone and when I arrived at First Coast Honda Both Bikes were ready and the paper work was just needing me to sign on the dotted line.
I did call the dealer in jax and told him I was driving the 30 miles to First Coast Honda because they have the blue with flames and a much better price. They got mad and tried telling me all kinds of things to stop me from going to first coast honda, But I went and got the best deal and the color bikes we wanted.

"By far the easiest purchase I have ever made. I had been a loyal customer to Honda of Jacksonville since the new purchase of my 2003 CBR 954RR in 6/03. After deciding it was time for new bike again, I decided on the 2007 CBR 1000RR. I did my research and knew what the 1000RR was worth and I knew what my trade was worth. Well HOJ was supposed to be having some "BIG SALE" and I decided to see what they could do. After what seemed like hours of talking to an uninformed sales rep, getting the low-ball offers on my trade, complaining about the price of their bike and their dealer fees, and trying to get over the shook of their warranty costs...I decided to leave with my 954 and be happy with it.
After some additional research online on the 07 1000RR and knowing they would be limited shortly due to the 08 release, I came upon the dealer locator on the Honda website. I knew I didn't want to drive to Georgia just to try to work a deal and I had heard other complaints of our other local dealer but the locator had one more worth trying. First Coast Honda of St. Augustine. It was Sunday and didn't think they would be open but their hours online showed they were. I picked up my cell and dialed the number and behold....a kind voice of a woman who was eager to help. Her name was Jill. I asked if she had any 07 1000RR remaining and she advised me of her inventory. I asked for their current price knowing the 08 release was in a couple of weeks. To my shock she told me $9799. That was $200 less than HOJ offered and we were only 15 seconds into the conversation. I had spent over an hour trying to get HOJ to do that. I was immediately relieved that there still may be a chance for my new bike. I asked if they would be open on Monday as HOJ is always closed and she said "of course, open till 7 pm". She asked what time I would to come in and then said she looked forward to meeting me.
Due to the excitement I left work early the following day to see once again if my dream was still possible. First impression was o.k. as the parking was a little limited. Little did I know was that it would be well worth it shortly. I found Jill and told her who I was and what I was looking for. She showed me the pick of 2 bikes in the color I was looking for. I asked the price again and she said $9564 and the shock set in again. That was now $435 less than their competitor. I explained that I had a trade and exactly what I was looking to get for it. She said she had to get the paperwork for the trade and would have her tech look at immediately. After the tech did his evaluation on my bike and receiving multiple compliments, I was introduced to a guy named Paul. Paul explained to me that they could start with the amount I was asking for my trade but that he needed to deduct some money to replace the rear tire for resale. I understood his point but really wanted the exact amount I originally requested for my trade. Basically he said "O.K." He explained the paperwork and discussed his dealer fee's (which by the way were cheaper than the competitor) and off he went for approval. Next time I seen Paul he had papers in hand ready to sign. The deal was approved.
Time for finance. The finance guy was really nice and professional too. His name was Anthony. He went over the paperwork and discussed the Honda Extended Warranty which I knew I wanted but HOJ told me it would be $1140 and I wasn't sure if it was worth that much. I asked how much the warranty would be and again the shock...$660 he said. I asked why his was cheaper than the competitor and he was confused. He said this is the Honda Certified Extended Warranty and he wasn't sure why it would be cheaper. He said it should be the same but the he had heard of other peoples complaints of paying more for what they found out to be a third party Warranty company. Usually Finance Departments are pretty pushy when it comes to warranties but I told him I would like to come back in a few months to purchase it. He said, "O.K.". I signed my paperwork and off I went. Jill handed me my keys and congratulated me on my new bike and the dream was complete.
I hope this is not too long to post on the testimonials as I want everyone to know my story. If by chance it's too long, I just want to say "JOB WELL DONE" to all that helped me. I really do appreciate it and I will be telling everyone I know about you all. Thanks again!!!"

"On 02/04/08 I was on my way to the VA clinic for an appointment on my 1980 GL1100 stopped at the red light at the intersection of SR16 and US 1 when my bike quit dead obvious electrical failure. I stopped traffic long enough to push bike off the street. Now here I am a 78 year old retiree on a fixed SS income and faced with this problem when a young lady stopped to see if she could help my situation. She introduced herself as Wendy and said she would notify the Honda shop on SR 16 of my predicament and if I needed a tow to the shop they could help. Well it wasn't more than 15 minutes until a young courteous man showed up with his pick up and trailer. At the First Coast Honda dealer the service manager came out to the trailer pulled the side cover from the battery and with his young assistant and a volt ohm meter located the problem, a deteriorated and corroded battery wire that lost continuity.
The service manager took it upon himself to make a new wire with connections and had me back on the road in a very short time. Sorry I wish I had memorized his name for he was one super guy to handle my situation in that manner and I do sincerely appreciate and thank him and his employees for the swift and courteous service.

Were able to help Dan get out of a really bad situation that he had got into when he purchased a VLX600c from Honda of Jacksonville. "I bought my 750 Aero there in April. I shopped all the area dealers and the internet for over a year before I finally bought my bike. First Coast Honda was the only dealership that ever called me to see if I had purchased a bike. They didn't try to "sell" me. They just asked and offered to help get me a bike. When I got pre-approved from Honda that's where I went. I got a great price on the bike and the accessories I wanted.
When it came time for the 600 mile service I had trouble trying to get the bike to the shop. No problem. First Coast Honda came to my house (35 miles) and picked up the bike at no extra charge. When I went to get it, it was ready.
My goal is to own a Wing. I plan on getting it from First Coast.

I recently had occasion to need service at your dealership. As an out of town customer I expected "decent" service. Instead I received outstanding service. All too often we fail commend business's for exemplary service so I am tai king this opportunity to do so.
My 2008 GoldWing needed warranty work on the back seat rest which had pulled apart from the body. This is not a safety issue or even a driveability issue, just an annoyance on my part. Buddy Branaum sorted out the issue and ordered the replacement seat. When I brought the bike back to get it installed the service area was exceptionally busy, but he made sure I got in and out in short order with a cheerfulness that provided me with great assurance. I also chatted, upon paying my bill, with a young fellow in accessories area (Chris) who gave me significant guidance regarding blue tooth communications. He was most knowledgeable.
All other employees were very friendly. It made a service visit rather enjoyable. These two in particular are to be commended. With employees such as them I am sure you will enjoy much success. Good luck in your new facility; I look forward to seeing it when I return.

"To Buddy/service i just want everyone to know how much i apperciate the service you guys provided me last week when i had to tow my VTX 1300 in for repairs. I left your place at 2pm on thursday and arrived in Charlotte at 9:15pm that night 450 miles later. Lots of wind and rain on the way, but the bike performed beautifully, thanks to all of you for the grate service. I will be back time to time to visit you.
